Qualifications/Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- At least 3 years’ experience in SME loan sales and management.
- A business or marketing related degree.
Key Result Areas
- Sales and customer relationship management.
- Acquire new SME customers to expand the loan portfolio.
- Explore new avenues for customer marketing and acquisition.
- Serve existing and new “walk in” customers.
- Facilitate customer pre-application and application process.
- Explain and educate customer on the company’s SME loan products, application,procedure and requirements.
- Plan and manage schedule for customer visits and interviews.
- Conduct regular review on loan portfolio to further identify new opportunities.
- Ensure “right customer sourcing” i.e. credit worthy customers to maintain quality of loans
- Conduct customer / business site inspection, interviews and preliminary credit assessment, ensuring and maintaining high quality loans
- Check and verify the supporting documentation of credit application file and request additional documents/information as necessary to assess the application creditworthiness Assess the credit risk of loan applications of individual and businesses to identify clients’ repayment capacity.
- Regularly review and monitor customer portfolio for risk indicators as required with
immediate follow-up on customers that show early signs of delinquency or violation of
loan terms. - Ensure clients remain up to date with their loan and interest repayments and comply.
with the Collection Procedures as required. - Report any information or event that may affect the client’s ability to repay, immediately.
