Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Data Analytics certification.
• 2 years’ experience in a data management environment.
• Problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Data systems (SQL
• and NOSQL) and analytics.
• Familiar with project management processes.
• System analysis and design.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Key Result Areas

• Design and support the business’s database and table schemas for new and existent data sources for the data warehouse and data lakes.
• Develop snowflake and star schemas for data warehouse.
• Create and support the ETL in order to facilitate the accommodation of data into the warehouse using Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Pentaho Data Integration, SSIS and other technologies.
• Design and develop systems for the maintenance of the business’s data warehouse, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
• Develop ETL processes, cube development for database and performance administration, and dimensional design of the table structure.
• Design and configure Database platforms and Business Intelligence reporting platforms.
• Design and develop systems for the maintenance of the business’s data warehouse, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
• Oversee the full life-cycle of back-end development of the business’s data warehouse.
• Work closely with the data analysts, data scientists, product management and other data engineering experts in order to power insight and avail meaningful data products for the business and enable consistently informed management decisions.
• Set up DR for the business’s data warehouse, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
