Job Description

Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Business Commerce.
  • National Certificate in Project Management or People /Human development.
  • 3-4 years working experience in learning coordination and exposure to data and analytics reporting.

Key result Areas

  • Coordinate meetings to ensure that all relevant users with administrative rights are properly up-skilled to deal with all relevant data analysis packs and ensure that they are interpreting the information and planning ahead correctly. Conduct training where required.
  • Coordinate and manage the administration of all learning solutions offered by the Centre Learning and Development team, with specific reference to learning experiences designed at Centre for roll-out to Group. This will be to support the Head, Learning Experiences.
  • Lead small teams of Learning coordinators / activators (indirect reports embedded in other learning teams) in terms of their conduct and behaviour on the various platforms. Provide training and guidance as deemed fit and appropriate.
  • Coordinate activities and provide assistance to the Designer, Learning Experience and the Architect, Learning and Innovation.
  • Continually seek ways to improve business processes and commercial optimisation of L&D team function through simplification, standardisation and optimisation.
  • Lead small teams of Learning coordinators / activators (indirect reports embedded in other learning teams).
  • Take accountability for team delivery against standards, quality and project plan expectations.
  • Orientation and induction: ensure all new team members are on-boarded in terms of systems, policies, processes and guidelines to ensure a high level of operational effectiveness, with specific reference to digital technologies.
  • Set and maintain clear performance standards for the Learning coordinator/ activator teams. Coach new L&D administrators and coordinators on reporting requirements with specific reference to digital technologies, including all digital subscription licences
  • Oversee project progress ensuring that specified deadlines and standards are adhered to as per the Executive teams specifications whilst ensuring that normal operating deadlines are not hindered by project progress.
  • Proactively support Learning Partner/ Learning Solution consultants in promoting , marketing and activating training solutions. Provide telephonic support to delegates on all training administrative and logistical issues
  • Work closely with the Learning partner and Learning Solution Consultants on ways of increasing uptake and usage of the learning solutions. Generate communication material and innovative options to enhance learning solution adoption and uptake. Communicate, market and share relevant content with delegates.
  • Manage learning platform suppliers to ensure adherence to the agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and engage the learning platform suppliers to notify them of any inconsistencies or breaches in their SLA.
  • Assist with the compilation of regulatory reports by providing the relevant data and ensuring external reporting and audit requirements are met.
  • Maintain awareness around digital governance standards to ensure technical compliance across the learning and development systems. Actively search for opportunities to improve and innovate systems and processes whilst reporting on errors and performance of these systems ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyse monthly utilisation, adoption, and engagement data and identify amongst other things, the number of new registrations, activity levels, activity details (which courses are being assessed) to understand and report on emerging trends across multiple variables such as workforce, geographies, gender and demographics.
  • Provide detailed monthly reports, highlighting areas of concern and risk, to all stakeholders across the Group, including Heads of Learning, both at Group level and for the respective countries.
  • Co-ordinate, resolve and escalate data and system related queries from various stakeholders and provide relevant information as well as possible solutions to issues.
  • Compile bespoke reports on all requested topics as per the agreed data points from the Head, Learning Innovation and provide insights into the Learning Stratco and Human Capital reports.
  • Actively and keenly engage with all Learning Teams across the Group to ensure that training reports are generated and can be reviewed for improvement and optimisation of all learning solutions, whilst ensuring that all training records have been stored appropriately and are in adherence with the relevant legal requirements. Provide guidance and training where required.
  • Control and manage the enterprise-wide content libraries, including LinkedIn Learning, GetAbstract and EBSCO on behalf of Standard Bank Group.
  • Take accountability for managing and rectifying any technical queries regarding access to both the content libraries as well as the digital platforms as they occur.
  • Contro and manage the bespoke on-line content libraries, such as Harvard Manage Mentor and Harvard Leading Edge on behalf of Standard Bank Group.
  • Support and drive the adoption of the enterprise-wide licenses to the Degreed Learning Experience Platform.
  • Monitor subscriptions to ensure optimal utilisation of programme and software licenses ensuring inactive licenses are redistributed and are allocated to positions where they will add value.
  • Assist all subscribers with their subscriptions across all the digital technologies and refer to the vendor as and when necessary. Drive adoption by ensuring that all operational queries are resolved within the agreed standard terms of engagement
