Qualifications/Experience

• Undergraduate/Honours degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant ICT certifications in Zimbabwe.
• Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
• AWS Certified Developer.
• Certification in relevant programming languages or development environments.
• At least 3 years of experience in application development or
  a related role.

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Develop and enhance core applications using appropriate programming languages and tools.
• Ensure that applications are developed in line with best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct regular code reviews and testing to ensure the quality of applications.
• Collaborate with other developers to resolve any development issues.
• Ensure seamless integration of core applications with other systems.
• Implement and maintain application programming interfaces (APIs) and other integration tools.
• Conduct regular system tests to ensure compatibility and performance, troubleshooting and resolving integration
  issues promptly.
• Monitor the performance of core applications and systems, identifying and resolving performance issues.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments.
• Implement performance optimization techniques to enhance system efficiency.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure applications are free of errors and perform optimally.
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all core applications.
• Document code changes and updates for future reference and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with other developers, IT staff, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and decision-making.
• Ensure that core applications comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and security of applications.
