Qualifications/Experience
- .Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, or CA) preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of finance experience, preferably in a Banking operation / CIT.
- Proven track record of financial management and leadership
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (Banking and accounting systems).
Key Result Areas
- Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for both departments.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting, positioning, and optimization.
- Ensure efficient cash handling and vault operations.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Consolidate financial reports
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including cash handling, vault operations, and compliance.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams.
- Work closely with Branch Cash Management, Cash-in-Transit Business and Finance departments to ensure financial support and guidance.
- Provide financial insights to inform business decisions.
