Job Description

Qualifications/Experience

  • .Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, or CA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of finance experience, preferably in a Banking operation / CIT.
  • Proven track record of financial management and leadership
  • Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (Banking and accounting systems).

Key Result Areas

  •  Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for both departments.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting, positioning, and optimization.
  • Ensure efficient cash handling and vault operations.
  • Prepare regular financial reports, including management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Consolidate financial reports
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including cash handling, vault operations, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams.
  • Work closely with Branch Cash Management, Cash-in-Transit Business and Finance departments to ensure financial support and guidance.
  • Provide financial insights to inform business decisions.
